When there is life, there is spring. Violets appear in country lanes and beside city sidewalks. Being conscious of our surroundings, we hear Nature's voice as it speaks to us saying, "Look at the flowers; witness birds, bees, and butterflies at work!"

As spring begins to flourish, a repeated rhythm of Nature becomes gradually more apparent. All of our senses respond to the warmth of the sun, beauty of the earth and fragrance of the flowers. We awaken, crawling out from under the rock of winter in harmony with the rest of the earth's creatures. Chief Seattle reminds us that "the wind is sweetened by the meadow flowers."
